Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is accountable for delivering tailored nursing care to individuals who have developmental and physical disabilities through regular visits to group homes. This role is crucial in ensuring that residents receive high-quality medical support and assistance.
Responsibilities
- Perform clinical assessments to evaluate the health status of residents.
- Administer prescribed medications in accordance with established guidelines.
- Maintain and update comprehensive medical records for accurate documentation of care.
- Provide training to staff members regarding individual care plans and nursing procedures.
Qualifications
- Possession of a current LPN license in Pennsylvania.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Preferred applicants will have a minimum of one year of experience in nursing.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
