Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Clinic plays a crucial role in providing quality patient care in a clinic environment. This position is tasked with assisting registered nurses and physicians in delivering effective healthcare services to patients, ensuring that all clinical activities are carried out smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and ensure compliance with medical policies.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and wellness.
- Ensure that the clinic environment is safe and conducive to patient care.
Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Completion of a recognized LPN program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred, but not required.
