Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in delivering healthcare services to students. This position involves executing care plans, providing medication, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of patient status. Additionally, the LPN acts as an intermediary among staff members and the RN Case Manager to ensure seamless communication and care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized care plans for students.
- Administer medications to students as prescribed.
- Document the health status and progress of clients accurately.
- Perform various nursing treatments as required.
- Facilitate communication between staff and the RN Case Manager.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate from an accredited Practical Nursing program.
- Current nursing license in Illinois is mandatory.
- A valid Illinois driver’s license is required.
- Ability to successfully complete background, physical, and drug screenings.
