The LPN plays a vital role in the nursing process by evaluating patients and executing treatment plans, all under the guidance of a registered nurse. Key responsibilities include administering medications, conducting diagnostic tests, and accurately documenting patient interactions while maintaining a focus on delivering exceptional patient care. Applicants should have completed a program from an accredited nursing school and possess an active LPN/LVN license for the state in which they will work. A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting is preferred, and obtaining CPR certification is mandatory.
