Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in the nursing process by evaluating patients and carrying out treatment plans under the oversight of a Registered Nurse (RN). This position is essential for ensuring patient safety and effective healthcare delivery in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of patients and implement therapeutic interventions based on care plans.
- Administer medications and perform various diagnostic tests as required.
- Document patient encounters accurately in compliance with safety protocols.
- Maintain a safe and compliant clinical environment while providing care.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is mandatory.
- Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state where employed is required.
- Preferred: A minimum of one year of experience in a clinic setting.
- Must be able to obtain CPR certification.
