Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare while assisting with various nursing tasks in a clinical setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, compassion, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Administering medications and monitoring patient vitals.
- Assisting with daily living activities for patients.
- Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
- Participating in patient education and support.
Qualifications
- Current and valid LPN/LVN license.
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification may be required.
