Job Summary
The role of the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) involves delivering nursing care directly to patients within their residences, while working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. The LVN will be responsible for executing predefined care plans, maintaining records of patient progress, and providing educational support to both patients and their caregivers regarding health management strategies.
Responsibilities
- Administer direct nursing care to patients in home settings.
- Work collaboratively under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Implement established care plans effectively.
- Document and track patient progress meticulously.
- Educate patients and their caregivers on managing health conditions.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in California.
- Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential.
- Current CPR certification is necessary.
