Job description
The Licensed Veterinary Technician is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care, supporting veterinarians during medical procedures, and executing technical tasks like anesthesia monitoring and diagnostic imaging. This position involves educating pet owners, keeping precise medical records, and working closely with the medical team to facilitate smooth hospital operations. Applicants must possess a valid Virginia Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) license or meet eligibility requirements for licensure. A solid foundation in technical and nursing skills, along with proficiency in anesthesia, surgical procedures, and dentistry, is essential for this role.
