Job Summary
The Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the supply chain and ensuring efficient logistical operations. This position is responsible for managing the movement of goods and materials from suppliers to customers, while maintaining accurate records and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end logistics processes for all shipments.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation and inventory records.
- Handle any logistical issues or delays, developing solutions to mitigate risks.
- Analyze transportation costs and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Track shipments and provide updates to stakeholders regarding delivery status.
- Collaborate with other departments to align logistics with overall business operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
