Job Summary
This position involves delivering nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The primary focus is on executing assessments, administering prescribed medications, and providing education to patients regarding their health and treatments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of patients’ conditions under RN guidance.
- Administer medications as directed and monitor patient responses.
- Educate patients about their health, treatments, and medications.
- Collect and track patient information to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain precise documentation of patient care activities.
- Support the nursing team in operational tasks to enhance workflow.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Mississippi.
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients and team members.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and repositioning patients.
