Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering direct patient care by closely observing vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments. This role involves working in partnership with Registered Nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The LPN also fosters meaningful connections with patients to assist them in achieving their physical, mental, and emotional recovery objectives.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and symptoms.
- Assess treatment responses and document findings.
- Collaborate effectively with Registered Nurses to provide quality care.
- Develop and nurture relationships with patients to support their recovery goals.
Qualifications
- Current LPN/LVN licensure.
- CPR certification.
- Preferred: At least one year of experience in an inpatient medical-surgical or general hospital environment.
