Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) plays a crucial role in ensuring that residents have a supportive physical, social, and psychological environment. This position involves actively monitoring patients’ care in alignment with the treatment plans set forth by their physicians.
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing a supportive atmosphere for residents, focusing on their physical, social, and psychological well-being.
- Monitor and manage care as per physician-prescribed treatment plans.
- Administer medications while ensuring compliance with established company procedures.
- Oversee the cleanliness and security of the medication supply room.
- Document responses to care plans accurately to maintain effective communication within the care team.
- Ensure a safe living environment for all residents.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid LPN or LVN license in accordance with state regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to care plans and provide quality patient care.
- Strong documentation skills for effective tracking of patient responses and care management.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment.
