Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides essential patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patients, and ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients in various healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and provide treatment as directed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and record vital signs, as well as the overall health of patients.
- Assist in patient hygiene, mobility, and other daily activities.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide support and education.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license and certification in the respective state.
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under supervision.
