Job Summary
The LSS Chemical Operator plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing chemical production systems, which include steam autoclaves and centrifugal pumps. Their main focus is on ensuring both safety and operational efficiency in all processes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate chemical production systems effectively.
- Ensure the safety and efficiency of operations.
- Coordinate daily workflows for personnel involved in production.
- Issue work permits as necessary for operations.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to maintain operational integrity.
- Perform quality testing to ensure compliance with operational standards.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial or commercial maintenance or operations is necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
- The ability to lift weights of up to 50lbs is needed for this role.
