Job Summary
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a home health environment. This role encompasses various tasks such as administering medications, observing patient health status, and executing treatment plans as directed by physicians. The LVN also plays a crucial role in patient education, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring care coordination under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor patient conditions.
- Implement treatment plans as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide patient education and support.
- Document patient care and progress accurately.
- Coordinate care efforts under RN supervision.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited vocational nursing program.
- Current California LVN license.
- Ability to maintain professional standards in care delivery.
- Physical stamina to perform job duties effectively.
- Pre-employment health clearance from a physician.
