Job Summary
The Maintenance Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring that facilities and equipment are kept in optimal working condition. This position is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to support the overall operation and upkeep of the facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks across the facility.
- Perform repairs on building systems and ensure functions of equipment.
- Support preventative maintenance initiatives to minimize downtime.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of maintenance tools and equipment.
- Document maintenance activities and report any urgent repairs required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
- Ability to use hand tools and maintenance equipment effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, with a team-oriented attitude.
