Job Summary
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for directing maintenance activities across various facilities within the food manufacturing sector, focusing on maximizing equipment reliability and production efficiency. This role includes overseeing maintenance budgets, managing capital initiatives, and fostering staff development while ensuring adherence to food safety and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate maintenance operations for multiple sites in the food manufacturing industry.
- Manage and monitor maintenance budgets effectively.
- Oversee capital projects related to maintenance and improvement initiatives.
- Develop and enhance the skills of maintenance staff through training and support.
- Ensure compliance with relevant food safety regulations and environmental policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance is necessary.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and automated systems is essential.
