Job Summary
The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler plays a critical role in optimizing maintenance workflows by assessing work requests, analyzing project scope, and effectively distributing resources to coordinate maintenance tasks. This position is also tasked with maintaining accurate asset information, overseeing work backlogs, and ensuring the integrity of equipment records within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze incoming work requests for maintenance activities.
- Evaluate project scopes to determine necessary resources and timeframes.
- Schedule maintenance activities to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Maintain up-to-date asset metadata and manage work backlogs.
- Ensure all equipment records in the CMMS are accurate and comprehensive.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a maintenance setting.
- Proficiency in using CMMS platforms such as FMX or Fiix.
- A high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Willingness to work in cold environments as required.
