Job Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical role in leading shift teams and ensuring the effective and safe functioning of mechanical equipment through proactive maintenance strategies. This position emphasizes monitoring production activities, addressing mechanical failures, and educating team members to achieve established quality benchmarks.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to maintenance personnel during assigned shifts.
- Oversee the safe and efficient operation of mechanical equipment through preventive maintenance practices.
- Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure seamless operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues as they arise.
- Conduct training sessions for team members to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of industrial systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
