Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency of production and quality standards by overseeing the proper functioning of machinery and mechanical equipment. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at minimizing downtime and maintaining operational excellence within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex machinery issues to prevent production interruptions.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and rectify faults in machinery to enhance operational stability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance experience is essential.
- Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Willingness to work overtime, if necessary.
- Ability to lift weights up to 100 pounds competently.
