Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of facility equipment and systems, ensuring that everything operates smoothly and efficiently. This role is critical in maintaining the organization’s operational effectiveness and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and address them promptly to minimize downtime.
- Regularly inspect facilities to identify potential problems and perform proactive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs conducted.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical certification or training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a relevant position.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and perform repairs efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
