Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of facilities and equipment. This role includes troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems, thereby contributing to a safe and productive environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in machinery and equipment.
- Perform repairs and replacements of defective components or systems.
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
- Assist in the planning and execution of preventive maintenance schedules.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
