Job Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of a manufacturing facility located in Mankato, Minnesota. The role entails performing maintenance tasks to keep machinery and equipment in optimal working condition, thus directly contributing to productivity and safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to identify issues early.
- Perform repairs on machinery and equipment to guarantee proper functionality.
- Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime during maintenance activities.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Document maintenance activities and assist in planning future maintenance schedules.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent; degree in Mechatronics or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
- Must possess the physical ability to lift heavy equipment and tools as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
