Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all facility equipment and infrastructure operate smoothly and efficiently. This role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks to uphold the functionality of the assets within the facility. The technician will engage in various maintenance assignments which may involve electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and systems.
- Identify and rectify issues with machinery and infrastructure to ensure optimal operation.
- Perform repairs on a variety of equipment, including electrical systems.
- Maintain records of all maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and implement improvements.
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively for repair and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and management.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
