Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician at the Aluminum Foundry plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery and equipment. This position involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and improving operational efficiency within the foundry environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on foundry equipment to prevent malfunctions.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical failures and electrical issues effectively.
- Collaborate with production staff to address any machinery-related problems promptly.
- Implement maintenance schedules and document all service activities performed.
- Utilize tools and machinery safely in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, ideally in a manufacturing or foundry setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and preventative maintenance practices.
