Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician at Nevada Health Centers Southern Region plays a crucial role in ensuring that all facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards. This position involves routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks to support the overall functionality and safety of the healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly to minimize disruptions in operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
- Collaborate with other team members as needed to support facility operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in maintenance is a plus.
- Proven experience in facility maintenance or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact with personnel at all levels.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical) are advantageous.
