Job Summary
The Manager, Accounting plays a critical role as a technical advisor on matters related to accounting policies and SEC compliance. This position involves managing global accounting operations and assessing brand performance, ensuring that financial reporting is accurate and timely. The individual will drive enhancements in processes, particularly through the implementation of automation strategies.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical advisor on accounting policy and SEC compliance.
- Oversee global accounting functions and evaluate brand performance metrics.
- Execute quarterly financial reporting procedures to meet deadlines.
- Maintain and oversee internal accounting policies to ensure compliance.
- Lead initiatives focused on process improvements leveraging automation technologies.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or actively pursuing certification.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience at a Big 4 accounting firm or within a large SEC-reporting company.
- Expertise in US GAAP is necessary.
- Strong ability to research and interpret technical accounting guidance is essential.
