Job Summary
The Manager of Financial Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily functions related to payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, while ensuring adherence to SOX compliance standards. This position also involves managing staff, collaborating with various stakeholders, and driving process enhancements to facilitate accurate month-end closing and overall financial integrity.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable activities.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
- Lead and manage a team, providing guidance and support.
- Coordinate efforts and communication with stakeholders across departments.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Support month-end closing processes to ensure timely and precise reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting operations.
- In-depth understanding of multi-state payroll regulations and financial systems.
- Solid foundation in internal controls and compliance requirements.
