The role includes performing intricate investigations, providing testimony during administrative hearings, and overseeing the reporting and reconciliation procedures within the department. Applicants are required to have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, complemented by several years of experience in investigations or property tax exemptions, which should include supervisory responsibilities and customer service expertise. A bachelor’s degree can be accepted as a substitute for a portion of the necessary investigation experience.
