Job Summary
The Material Handling Tech plays a crucial role in managing the movement, loading, and unloading of materials on the shop floor using forklifts and overhead cranes. The primary focus is on executing tasks with a strong emphasis on safety, adherence to company policies, and maintaining cleanliness in the workplace.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to facilitate the movement of materials.
- Load and unload materials as per operational demands.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company regulations during all tasks.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience operating forklifts is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
