Job Summary
The Mechanical Project Engineer is tasked with executing mechanical design activities that encompass HVAC load assessments, layout planning for equipment, and the design of ductwork and piping systems. This role is pivotal in guaranteeing adherence to building regulations and overseeing the mechanical design responsibilities for various projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct mechanical design tasks, including HVAC load calculations.
- Develop equipment layouts and design ductwork and piping systems.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes.
- Manage the scope of mechanical design work for projects assigned.
- Perform travel for site investigations as necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and HVAC load calculation software.
- Willingness to travel for site assessments.
