Job Summary
The Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting. This position requires a compassionate and skilled nurse capable of managing diverse patient needs while maintaining teamwork and communication with other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical environment.
- Assess patient conditions, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and record vital signs and initiate necessary interventions as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, with specific experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher degree in nursing.
- BLS certification required; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS) may be advantageous.
