Job Summary
The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring smooth patient care by documenting patient data, facilitating patient flow through the office, and preparing individuals for examinations. This position involves both administrative and clinical responsibilities to support healthcare providers and enhance patient experiences.
Responsibilities
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure optimal patient flow during office visits.
- Prepare patients for medical examinations.
- Obtain specimens as required for laboratory testing.
- Perform clinical procedures, including EKGs.
- Assist healthcare providers during treatment procedures.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting or phlebotomy is highly desirable.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
