**Job Title: Medical Assistant**
The Medical Assistant is responsible for carrying out the initial patient intake process, documenting vital signs, and ensuring that examination areas within the correctional facility are kept in order. Additionally, they will verify medications, conduct venipunctures, and uphold precise medical records. Applicants should have a Medical Assistant certification or diploma and possess strong communication and clerical abilities. This position demands the capability to handle multiple tasks, conduct patient assessments, and exhibit a solid understanding of medical terminology.
