Job Summary
The Medical Assistant is responsible for delivering patient care through various medical procedures and tests, including administering treatments such as injections and venipuncture. This role also entails assisting with administrative tasks and ensuring that examination rooms are well-maintained, while accurately documenting patient information within the electronic medical record system.
Responsibilities
- Administer medical procedures and tests to patients.
- Provide treatments such as injections and venipuncture.
- Assist with clerical duties to support office operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms.
- Document patient information in the electronic medical record system.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least six months of experience in a similar role or completion of a relevant medical training program.
- Preferred certifications include CMA or RMA.
- Prior experience in a multi-provider medical office is advantageous.
