Job Summary
The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive patient experience by welcoming individuals, documenting vital signs, and supporting medical personnel during procedures and treatments. This position requires a proactive approach to patient care and clinical support.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and manage their initial care.
- Document and monitor vital signs accurately.
- Assist medical staff in executing various procedures and treatments.
- Perform blood draws and administer vaccinations.
- Maintain clinical equipment and ensure treatment rooms are properly organized.
Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in primary or urgent care environments.
- Certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers.
- Demonstrated proficiency in EMR systems.
- Experience with clinical procedures such as injections and phlebotomy.
