Job Summary
The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in delivering both clinical and administrative assistance within a healthcare setting. This position involves direct interaction with patients as well as supporting various operational functions to ensure efficient healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
- Assist in patient rooming and preparation for medical procedures.
- Provide support during medical procedures as necessary.
- Manage inventory and supplies within the facility.
- Oversee clerical tasks, including scheduling appointments and organizing medical records.
- Process medication refill requests in accordance with established protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma is required.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant diploma or certificate from an accredited training program.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology.
- Adept at utilizing electronic medical record systems for patient management.
