The Clinic Medical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting healthcare providers during patient appointments. Responsibilities include documenting patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system, measuring vital signs, and coordinating diagnostic tests. In this position, the Medical Assistant serves as an intermediary between patients and healthcare providers while ensuring that the clinical area remains clean, well-stocked, and professional. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent; a Medical Assistant certificate or diploma is preferred. This role requires 2 to 3 years of experience specifically in Workers Compensation cases, strong computer skills, and the ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
