Job description
The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in assisting healthcare professionals by getting patients ready for examinations, conducting diagnostic tests, and ensuring that medical records are kept up-to-date. Responsibilities also include managing the flow within the clinic, processing lab specimens, and supporting administrative duties such as appointment scheduling and billing. Applicants should have a high school diploma and have graduated from an accredited Medical Assisting program or have at least one year of applicable experience. Additionally, candidates must hold certification as a Medical Assistant in Washington, along with Basic Life Support (CPR/AED) certification.
