Job description
The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in enhancing patient visits by setting up examination rooms, overseeing the flow of patient caseloads, and carrying out standard clinical duties. This position also involves recording patient care information in the EPIC EMR system and providing support for lab tests and referrals. Applicants should possess either a certificate from an accredited medical assisting program or a high school diploma coupled with one year of pertinent experience. Additionally, certification as a Medical Assistant must be obtained within six months of employment.
