Job Summary
The clinician will engage in delivering comprehensive care to pediatric patients undergoing neurosurgery in both hospital and outpatient environments, which encompasses surgical procedures and on-call emergency response. Furthermore, the role includes involvement in the education of trainees and support of research and quality enhancement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care for pediatric neurosurgery patients in various settings.
- Perform surgical procedures and manage emergency cases.
- Participate in training and educational programs for medical trainees.
- Contribute to ongoing research efforts and quality improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid Texas medical license or qualifications to obtain one.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in neurosurgery and pediatric neurosurgery.
- Completion of an accredited neurosurgery residency program recognized by the American Board of Neurosurgery.
