Job Summary

The Medical Front Office Assistant for Developmental Pediatrics plays a crucial role in supporting the administrative and operational functions of the pediatric clinic. This position involves handling patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and ensuring the smooth functioning of office procedures related to developmental pediatrics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling and follow-up communications.
  • Handle insurance verification and patient registrations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Assist in managing front office operations and support clinical staff as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical office administration is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a front office role within a medical setting is highly valued.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication abilities and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is advantageous.
