Job description
The Medical Laboratory Scientist plays a crucial role in the collection, processing, and analysis of laboratory samples within diverse clinical departments. This position requires the maintenance of precise records, adherence to quality control protocols, and compliance with safety and billing regulations. Applicants are required to have a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related scientific discipline, along with ASCP or AAB board certification. Additionally, a current BLS certification is necessary for this role.
