Job Summary

The Medical Office Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of a healthcare facility. This position is responsible for managing various administrative tasks and coordinating office functions to support patient care and office efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office operations and patient scheduling.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of billing and coding.
  • Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
  • Manage inventory and order office supplies as necessary.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in medical software and basic computer applications.
