Job Summary
The Metal Fabricator is responsible for the creation of tailored sign cabinets and structures made from aluminum and steel, utilizing a range of manufacturing equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of metal fabrication and welding techniques.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints to accurately construct custom sign cabinets and structures.
- Weld various components together, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain quality control standards throughout the fabrication process.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience in welding, specifically with metal and aluminum materials.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with measuring tools, specifically tape measures.
- Physical capability to lift weights up to 70 lbs.
- Proficiency in operating fabrication tools and machinery.
