Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Cleveland, OH
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with on-call duties
Salary: $35.50 – $51.00 per hour (including a $2.50 shift differential)
Initial pay starts at $35.50/hour for new hires, with yearly raises based on experience, achieving a maximum of $51.00/hour after 20 or more years.
Full-Time Annual Compensation: $73,840 – $106,080 (approximately $1,420 – $2,040 weekly; average yearly salary of $104,848 or $2,549 bi-weekly)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (paid in three installments)

Core Duties:
- Thoroughly assess patient charts, data, and screening forms to ensure MRI procedures align with safety standards and protocols.
- Conduct high-quality MRI scans on patients across various demographics and health conditions, following established technical guidelines.
- Perform routine quality assurance (QA) assessments to guarantee peak equipment performance and superior image quality.
- Inform and reassure patients throughout the MRI process to create a soothing experience.
- Monitor MRI apparatus during examinations, promptly addressing and reporting any malfunctions to minimize equipment downtime.
- Guide and assist new colleagues and radiology students by sharing your knowledge and best practices.
- Accurately manage billing and documentation through the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Stay abreast of industry developments by participating in ongoing professional training and certifications.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program (AAS or BS preferred).
- ARRT Certification in Radiography (R), Sonography (S), MRI (T), or Nuclear Medicine (N) from ARRT or CNMT from NMTCB.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong foundation in cross-sectional anatomy, MRI safety protocols, and pathology.
Preferred Experience:
- A minimum of one year working as a General Radiologic Technologist or in related imaging fields.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Capacity to lift and assist patients and operate heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs).
- Frequent tasks include pushing and pulling of equipment and supplies.
