Job Summary
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing MRI scans in various settings, including outpatient services, inpatient care, and the emergency department. This role requires a strong understanding of MRI technology, patient safety, and adherence to protocols in a hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct MRI scans for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department patients.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper use of MRI equipment.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of imaging techniques and technologies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
Qualifications
- Current ARRT-MR license.
- ODH license and BLS certification are necessary.
- Prior experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital setting is required.
- Strong knowledge of MRI equipment and safety standards in the MRI environment.
