Job description
**Job Title: Wastewater Treatment Operator**
The operator will engage in a comprehensive multi-year training initiative designed to impart knowledge on the operation and upkeep of a cutting-edge wastewater treatment facility. Key responsibilities involve overseeing plant operations, executing maintenance duties, and reacting to emergencies as a vital member of the shift team. To qualify, candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with completed studies in Algebra and either Chemistry or Biology. Additionally, applicants must be able to secure a Virginia Wastewater Operator’s license and successfully complete a pre-employment background investigation and physical evaluation.
