**Nerve Conduction Study Tech**
The Nerve Conduction Study Technician conducts diagnostic nerve conduction assessments, prepares patients for these tests, and oversees their well-being during the entire procedure. Additionally, this role involves the upkeep of medical equipment, recording results for review by physicians, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and HIPAA regulations. Prospective candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have a minimum of six months of related experience, although holding a professional certification is favored. Effective performance in this dynamic clinical setting requires strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
