Job Summary
The Network Administrator position at Fort Carson, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, involves managing and supporting network operations to ensure optimal performance and security of IT systems. This role is performed onsite and requires proficiency in various networking technologies, including the Services Engine and Juniper JUNOS. The Network Administrator will ensure adherence to policies and standards set by the Department of Defense (DOD) and Department of the Army (DA).
Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain the network infrastructure.
- Implement and enforce IT policies and standards as per DOD and DA regulations.
- Support network operations, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
- Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
Qualifications
- Years of relevant experience in network administration or a related field.
- Alternatively, a high school diploma with significant networking experience may be considered.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and technologies.
